With the demise of Holden completely, values of desirable models are increasing quickly, especially factory V8's. The Australian car market has taken massive jumps over recent years and is continuing to strengthen. The Holden VF Commodore is one of the last Australian made cars before General Motors decided to stop production in Australia in 2017. The VF SS-V Redline Series 2 has become one of the more collectable models of the range and has seen consistent price increases over the last few years. The 304kw 6.2-litre V8 is a fan favorite known for its incredible performance and reliability.

The SS-V Redline features a plethora of upgrades from the base model SS including:

– FE3 suspension replaces FE2; includes stiffer anti-roll bars, bigger dampers, and uprated lightweight aluminium suspension components
– Competitive Mode; relaxes the stability control, sharpens the steering and enables launch control (manual only)
– Staggered 19-inch forged alloy wheels (front: 245, rear: 275 tyres)
