KEY FACTS
BUYERS PLEASE NOTE - BASED OFF THE VIN DECODE THE CAR IS MEDIUM PRICE CLASS, NOT LOW OR ECONOMY AND IS A FACTORY - 245ci as opposed to the 215ci in the base variant. Please make you own mind up regarding if this example is a base or XL as the car has no options.
Holden's success with the Monaro pushed Chrysler to come up with an answer, and the "Hey Charger" campaign was an instant success. The Charger quickly made up half of Australia's Valiant sales and would see 4 models offered, the base Charger, the mid-range XL, the performance option R/T and the luxury 770. The mid-range XL was fitted with the 245ci which produced 120kw of power.
Many residents of Canberra's inner North would have seen this Charger getting around up until a few years ago when it was parked up in the garage due to health issues. This "Barn Find" VH Charger has been sitting for sometime however is still registered, the car appears to be complete and in solid order, the vehicle has been resprayed at some point and is finished in Alpine white with red interior.
