With a large variety of models, trims and 13 generations since 1941 the Ford F-Series is still produced as a top selling commercial vehicle today. The sixth generation would be produced between 1973-1979 all over the world including Australia. The F-Series that were assembled in Australia were fitted with Australian sourced engines with the 302 Cleveland being the most common until 1978.
This 1977 Sixth Generation Ford F350 Banana Back Tow Truck Dually has had some very extensive work carried out over the last few years both mechanically, externally and internally. There isn't much that has not been reconditioned or replaced on this F350, finished in a striking red and black colour scheme that attracts attention everywhere. This F350 is an Australian delivered V8 4-speed manual example with power steering, remote winch controls, hidden in tray ramps on rollers for simple loading/unloading, and the simplicity of being able to drive on a car licence with a 4,500kg GVW. The presentation of this example speaks for itself with the rear tray being panted and crinkle coated for a non slip surface, with ample tie down points, under tray toolboxes and approx dimensions of 4,400mm x 2150mm.
This is a turn key, ready to be enjoyed and would make a great business investment, or toy hauler for the weekends.
