Produced for 14 months between 1965 and 1966 the all new design Holden HD replaced the successful EH and would see over 178,000 produced across this short period. The HD was offered in three trim levels with four body styles with a 100hp 2.4-litre inline six was standard across all models or with the optional 115hp 2.9-litre inline six.
This eye catching restored example of a HD Special Wagon indicates 22,936 miles travelled and is turn key and ready to be enjoyed. The HD has had a detailed patina style restoration, with the engine bay and under side of the car being restored. The
car
starts, runs and drives well, with the interior in surprisingly good
condition for its age with some signs of restoration, particularly in the rear, with the main sign of aging showing by the patched drivers seat. Volvo steel alloy wheels have been fitted to the car with larger tyres, a common period modification for a better on road experience. Significant time and effort has gone into this car, and now it is ready to be enjoyed by the new owner.
