HSV was a joint venture between Tom Walkinshaw and Holden and was introduced in 1987 as the performance vehicle sector of Holden, after controversies around the HDT Director and Energy Polarizer from Peter Brock's HDT vehicle sector. Special HSV models were harder to come by in these earlier models compared to the later generations, with the VY Series only running for two short years.

This 2003 HSV VY Senator Signature is build number #96 of 159 and was built on the 05/05/2003. From factory the car was finished in the desirable Turbine Grey Metallic with shale / cream leather and suede trim and a automatic gearbox. This example remains completely standard and has travelled 158,606ks since new with good partial logbook history, all original manuals, a recent service, recent HSV authentication certificate in HSV leather folder, HSV keychain, both remote keys and will come on standard ACT plates with 3 months registration and a passed ACT or NSW roadworthy (buyer's choosing).
