The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, more commonly known as the Evo is a popular turbocharged AWD sports sedan with a rally pedigree based off the lower spec Lancer. The Evolution was manufactured by Mitsubishi Motors in Japan from 1992 up until 2016, in which 10 official generations of the Evo were produced with each generation designated by a roman numeral. The Mitsubishi Evolution is a Japanese icon and a household name around the world.
