The SL Class was introduced in 1954 as a Grand Tourer sports car. Production of the SL Class continues today and since 1954 has gone through six generations with numerous updates in between. The R230 generation, was the fifth gen out of the six and instantly became a modern day classic. The SL500 was the spec that put the R230 gen on the map and was an instant success. Designed with the luxury demanded from a top end Mercedes, the car also features a series of exemplary safety features.

This well kept Australian delivered SL500, boasts a full and thorough service history serviced exclusively by Mercedes dealerships and specialists. The car has a powerful 5.0lt 225kw V8 engine and is loaded with factory and aftermarket features such as retractable roll bar, touch screen tv, leather and wood grain interior, active body control, multy function steering wheel, 20" SL65 AMG US version wheels and brakes. The car has been professionally wrapped in pearlescent white with black carbon fibre additions, to protect the factory black opal pearl paint.
