Vendor states - This Macan GTS was purchased by the vendor privately, after the car had been purchased back off the insurance company due to being stolen and then recovered. The Macan was undamaged after being stolen - less some minor damage to the front bar, which still remains on the car untouched. Subsequently after several weeks of ownership it was noted the car had been (wrongly) Statutory written off (after purchase) for heavy panel damage and some minor mechanical damage. A dispute was raised, Porsche inspected and confirmed the damage noted on the PPSR did not, and had not previously existed, however the vendor had no success in having the write-off status removed. Our recent PPSR reports have been met with errors, and it appears someone has removed the car from the PPSR system, which we have not been seen before. A previously generated PPSR report is included in the listing images outlining the "damage". Buyers are to make their own mind up as to the status of the car, however last check reflects it was a statutory write off which typically cannot be removed.
