Classic and hard to find Datsun 1200 Sedan. Great base for resto or street car. Runs!
KEY FACTS
The B110 Datsun 1200, or Sunny overseas, was the second generation of the 1200 which ran for only 3 short years between 1970-1973. The car was an affordable and economical competitor to the Toyota Corolla and also became a favorite for rally drivers second only to the slightly larger 1600. The 1200 also took out the Class-A racing title at Bathurst in 1970, a class for cheap cars that cost less than $2000 new.
This 1200 is a great find and base for a restoration project or patina street car. The car is a running and driving example although will require work to be running 100% and back on the road. The car appears to be mostly complete and has a period correct sun-visor fitted and venetian blinds on the rear window. The car overall appears quite solid with corrosion around the wheel arches being the worst of it.
