Often overlooked in the AMG world, the W210 E55 AMG debuted in 1998 and it marked a major shift from the boxy W124, introducing a smoother design language with flowing lines, a sloping roof and iconic quad headlights. Powered by a hand-built 5.4-litre M113 V8 producing 349hp and 530nm, the E55 sprinted from 0–100kph in just 4.9 seconds, making it a genuine performance monster for its time, capable of holding its own against contemporary Porsches and Ferraris. Considered one of the last true old school simple Mercedes, the W210 blends classic build quality with understated performance; clean styling, purposeful design and the iconic monoblock wheels give it a timeless presence. On the road it offers composed performance from it's wonderful naturally-aspirated V8 soundtrack, without unnecessary tech or gimmicks. Adding to its exclusivity, the W210 E55 was the final AMG built entirely at Affalterbach, where every component from body and suspension to the drivetrain and engine was assembled by hand, giving this model a unique status among AMG enthusiasts.

This example of the rare and desirable W210 E55 AMG has travelled an indicated 172,630ks since new with partial logbook history. The E55 has been sitting indoors in a private collection since 2019 and would require some minor work to bring it back to perfect.
