The Nissan Patrol was introduced in 1951 and still continues today in its sixth generation. Patrols were quickly recognised across the world as robust and reliable off-road 4x4s and have created a following for serious offroaders and millitary use overseas. The fourth generation Y60 or the "Patrol GQ" was introduced in 1989 and would run until the fifth generation was introduced in 1998. The GQ received two major updates for the Australian market, with the first one in 1992. The TB42 models now had fuel injection and all Patrols recieved revised suspension, transmissions, bigger brakes and wheels as standard and most importantly LSD differentials were now standard.

This rare and presentable example is a very desirable short-wheelbase example in a Series 2 with the limited two tone paint, with a factory automatic gearbox. The car indicates only 111,874ks since new, and despite not having books the overall condition of the car appears to be reflective of the ks. This example was recently picked up from a deceased estate, and new shocks, tyres, distributor points, cap an rotor were fitted with a service also done. The GQ series Patrols were quite prone to rust, however this example shows no signs of rust or bubbling, and has some minor surface corrosion underneath as expected for the age. The car is presented in very original condition throughout, with a set of aftermarket wheels (with near new Falken A/T tyres) and head unit being the only signs of modification. Other features include chrome front bumper, side steps, towbar, automatic transmission with overdrive, power windows and mirrors, low range gearbox, manual locking front hubs, working air conditioning, rubber floor mats and more. 

This is a great example of a rare and desirable 4x4 that would make a great base for a build or a collectors piece.
