The X308 XJ Series Jaguar was produced between 1997 and 2002 and would be the final evolution of the XJ40 platform. The XJ8 was fitted with more equipment than the standard models including leather seating and air conditioning as standard. The XJ8 Sport was offered again with even more than the XJ8 and featured wider wheels, stiffer suspension, and different colour combinations and finishes.
