The Lotus Eleven was a sports race car that came in various versions and was built from 1956 until 1958. Designed by Colin Chapman and fitted with a sleek body designed by aerodynamicist Frank Costin. In all 270 Lotus Elevens were originally built. The platform Found success in the late 50s and early 60s and is now an extremely rare collectors item.
This lotus Eleven Replica Was built in 1961. No expense was spared with the build quality still evident today. This Replica now sports a Toyota 4 cylinder push rod engine fitted with twin carburetors that runs and drives like a dream. The car is also fitted with coil overs, disc brakes all round, 6 point Monza racing harness', light weight alloy wheels and much more. The car has featured in multiple races and hill climbs over the years and comes with a plethora of paperwork regarding the history, build and maintenance of the vehicle.
The car is on full ACT registration current until the 23rd of December making it perfect for a collector, to race or just a weekend cruise the car is sure to turn heads wherever it goes.
